At Black Raven Beads, every collection begins with a story.

Some are inspired by mythology and forgotten legends. Others by nature, art, travel, seasons of life, or passing moments that quietly stay with us forever.

Over the years, these silver and glass beads have travelled across the world, becoming part of personal journeys, memories and meaningful collections.

As the brand evolves, certain designs are allowed to rest and become part of Black Raven history.

On May 28, 2026, the following designs retire from the collection.

Several of the retiring glass designs are being discontinued because the materials used to create them are no longer available for future production. These beads captured a specific moment in time, and once the remaining pieces are gone, they will not return in the same form again.

Several silver designs are also retiring as the world around handmade jewellery continues to change. Over the past year, silver prices have increased dramatically.

To continue making detailed, handcrafted jewellery sustainably and thoughtfully for collectors around the world, selected designs are being reworked for the future. This means that some beloved designs will eventually return as renewed versions, labelled as version 2 editions. The following silver and glass beads are currently planned for future reinterpretation: Slide into Wonderland, Van Gogh.

For collectors, this also means that the original designs become something special in their own right.

We will not produce the first editions again in the same form. This is the final opportunity to collect the first editions before they retire permanently.

For some collectors, this may be the final chance to complete a bracelet or secure a long-admired piece. For others, it is an occasion to reflect on the stories these beads carried — reminders of adventures, loved ones, creativity and imagination.

Nothing lasts forever, and that is what makes certain things precious.

We want to thank everyone who gave these designs a place in their story.

Once the remaining pieces are gone, they will become part of Black Raven history — carried forward only in the bracelets, collections and memories of those who chose to give them a place in their story.
